No mood-board photography, no borrowed stock. These are the actual plates we send out, the actual sign out front, and the actual room we sit in. Here's a short walk through it.

Frame № 01
Storefront · Halifax, NS
01 — The front
The green Seoulmate Sushi sign with the orange salmon logo — you can't miss it on Quinpool Road. Push through the door under the neon OPEN sign and you're already half way to your first roll.

Frame № 02
Dining room · Quinpool Rd
02 — The room
Warm wood booths, paper lanterns, a chalkboard that changes with our mood. The little sushi-bun plushies on the shelf were gifts from regulars — that's the kind of place this is. Cherry blossoms by the door, a chalkboard promising today's 10% off, and a corner booth waiting for you.

Frame № 03
SMR · House sauce · Torched to finish
03 — The signature
Shrimp tempura and avocado wrapped tight, crowned with paper-thin tuna and a slick of our spicy house sauce. A single radish flower on top — because a good roll should look as bright as it tastes. This is the one people photograph before they eat.

Frame № 04
MR · Made to order
04 — The everyday favourite
Fresh salmon and crunchy tempura flakes, drizzled with spicy mayo and dusted with black and white sesame. Served hot enough that the sauce runs — the way it should. The roll people order when they say "just something simple, but really good."

Frame № 05
SP · Small plate · Served chilled
05 — The chef's snack
Diced octopus, wasabi stems, sesame — cool, briny, and just sharp enough to wake you up. Scoop it onto the sheets of crisp nori that come alongside. It's the small plate we sneak between rolls, and the one that quietly tells you the kitchen knows what it's doing.

The best photo of Seoulmate is the one you take at your own table. We'll save you a booth.
